The new NexGen infrastructure offers clients strategic proximity to key financial trading and foreign exchange platforms.

Savvis’ London data centers host Thomson Reuters’ Athena Trading EMS and provide access points to interdealer broker Icap’s EBS FX platform. These access points are subsequently connected to matching engines in their New Jersey-based data centers, creating optimal conditions for London-based high-frequency trading in the foreign exchange markets, with London and New York combining to account for over 60% of foreign exchange trading volume.
